As the center of information resource storage and service,the college library is playing a more and more important part in teaching,educating students and scientist researching.Serving is the main work of the library and the students are the main targets of the service.This article discusses the librarians duty in the library work,their view of value and their new concept for active serving to meet the students needs for reading.
