Because the physics and chemistry characteristic of water is different from the traditional hydraulic liquid,the seal of water hydraulic becomes one of the main research contentses in the water hydraulic.The physics and chemistry characteristic of water was introduced,the choice of seal materials for water hydraulic was discussed,the advantage of the graphite materials which is used in the water hydraulic was analyzed.The application of graphite materials in the water hydraulic was introduced.
