摘要
在对任意性同词的音义间的理据关系进行考察之后,本文表明语音象征、拟声词和感叹词的理据性程度低,不是对任意性的挑战;象似性和同源词的派生理据不仅是语言符号相对任意性的体现,而且是对任意性原则的补充和完善。
An analysis of the relationship between the arbitrariness and motivation of the combination of sound and meaning indicates that the existence of the sound symbolism,onomatopoeic and exclamatory words does not deny the arbitrariness of linguistic signs because of the low degree of their motivation.The iconicity and cognate words not only embody relative arbitrariness of linguistic signs,but perfect the principle of the arbitrariness.
