隋文帝是我国历史上比较有作为的政治家。他在位期间进行了一系列政治、经济、军事改革,建立三省六部制度,开科取士,扩大了统治基础;推行均田制,奠定统一南北的经济基础;实行"兵农合一"的府兵制度,加强封建中央的武装力量。审时度势,开创了继秦汉之后全国再统一的新局面,奠定了强盛的隋唐中央集权国家发展的基础。

As an influential politician in Chinese history,Emperor Wen of Sui reforms political,economic and military systems by establishing the systems of three provinces and six ministries,imperial examination,land equalization,and military system of allaying soldiers with farmers.These reforms open up a new prospect for unifying the country and lay solid foundation for centralization of state power in Sui and Tang Dynasties.
