In the non-loaded and loaded loss test of large-capacity 10 KV distribution transformers,an appropriate capacitor group,which is chosen to compensate reactive power,effectively solves the problems which are caused by the insufficient capacity of the power supply and the test devices.This paper can provide a reference for the loss test of large-capacity distribution transformer on the rated condition.
