摘要
语法教学是当今英语教学中最具争议的领域之一。本文首先介绍了关于语法教学的两种观点,在认识到这两种观点都过于极端之后,通过调查分析了当今中学英语语法教学的现状及其对英语教学产生的负面影响。然而如果采用完全忽略语法的教学方法,其效果也是不尽如人意的。语法对于提高学习者的交际能力发挥着极其重要的作用。在这一思想指导下,本文指出了中学英语语法教学的必要性,并介绍了在语法教学中如何恰当地使用交际法。只要教师可以恰当有效地在语法教学中运用交际法,枯燥乏味的语法也可以生动起来。
This paper starts with a survey of two views concerning the grammar teaching in middle school.Con- sidering that both of them are too extreme,the writer discusses the present state of grammar teaching in middle school,and analyses the negative effects it causes upon English teaching and learning.This is followed by a discussion of a contrary teaching method,which neglects grammar completely.With the conviction that grammar plays an indispensable role in the development of learners communicative competence,...
