摘要
在美国诗坛上,艾米丽·狄金森的诗作以它新颖独特的视角,大胆瑰丽的想像,优美空灵的语言,征服了亿万读者的心,激起了广泛的共鸣。在对狄金森这类诗歌进行分析的基础上,笔者发现诗人在诗中所体现的对于死亡的态度具有两重性:首先,死亡是披着神秘色彩的魔鬼,它能摧毁一切美好的事物,包括快乐、美丽和生命;但在另外一些诗中,死亡又成了值得期待的美妙归宿。由此可以看出,死亡在诗人笔下同时被赋予了两种截然不同的意义,而正因为如此,生命才会显得更加耐人寻味吧。
