英语学习中的情感,是指学生学习英语和使用英语时产生的情绪体验,有消极和积极之分。积极的情感可以促使学生产生浓厚的学习兴趣,进而激发学生强烈的学习动机;而消极的情感则会损害学生最大限度地获取语言输入以及大胆使用英语的信心。教师要重视情感因素,促使学生形成积极的情感状态,使之勇于并乐于使用英语,从中获得成就感。

In the presence of overly negative emotions such as anxiety,fear,stress,anger or depression,students optimal learning potential may be compromised.The most innovative techniques and the most attractive materials may be rendered inadequate,if not useless,by negative affective reactions involved with the language learning process.Fortunately,language teachers are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of negative emotional factors and of ways to handle them.
