Study on "Shangxia"

六朝隋唐时期,“上下”可以表示对父母尊长的称呼,也可用于称呼一家大小或尊亲子弟。本文通过考察二王杂帖,分析了这两个义项在中古的使用情况,并探究了它们的演变。

'Shangxia' referred to parents,as well as members of the family in Six Dynasties,the Sui Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty.Based on the study of two Wang'zatie,the text analyzes the usage of these two items in middle ancient period,and explores their evolution.
