在中国面向现代的转型过程中,思想界一直将关注的重心放置在制度、器物与文化层面的变迁过程,而文学则由于一直以大众阅读的形式出现,被视为一种文本阅读的浅层体验没有受到应有的重视,随着全球化的展开与深入,中国对西方文学的阅读逐渐脱离了浅层的文本阶段与文化猎奇心理,进入了深层的文化阅读,这一转向有助于将文学论域的拓展与上向延伸,同时也对文学阅读提出了新的挑战与课题。
