The railway in Vietnam is important carrier in transportation, but in a whole, it is backward and its distribution is also inconsequential.It is disadvantage factor that affects the development of Vietnam’s railway. In recent twenty years, Vietnam government has made great effort to develop railway,including making up new railway lines,rebuilding some old railway lines and expanding the channels of investment. The reform of Vietnam’s railway reflects some traits and trends.
