对于乡土或地域文学这一概念的使用,人们还有很多方面的争议.争议的焦点在于:无论是世界文学,还是国家或民族的文学,都离不开特定的历史社会背景,再提“乡土”、“地域”这类概念有无必要?通过检索我国的乡土文学理论,对其作了一些思考.

There are many disputes upon the application of the definition of Localism or regional literature.The focus is the following: world literature,country and national literature can't leave their special historical society background,is it needful to discuss the definitions of localism and regionalism? The article,through searching China local literature theories,makes some certain thinking upon them.
