利用国家既有航片通过采取一定的技术措施后制作大比例尺地形图,在精度上可以满足铁路初步勘测和初步设计的要求,在受天气影响航空摄影不能按时完成或出现小面积摄影漏洞的情况下,可以解决初步勘测和设计的用图问题,保证项目工作的开展,有很大的经济效益和社会效益。用高分辨率卫星影像立体像对进行大比例尺制图虽然在精度上已经满足某些比例尺地形图的要求,但由于受立体像对采集周期的影响,要普及使用还有待时日。
