Safety test of Sulfamonomethoxine Suspensions Injection on the target animal

目的评价磺胺间甲氧嘧啶(Sulfamonomethoxine,SMM)混悬注射液对靶动物的安全性.方法选择16头健康长×荣杂交猪,随机分成2个不同剂量组和1个空白对照组,剂量组每组6头,深部肌内分点注射给药,对照组4头注射生理盐水,连续观察,记录其对动物的体温、WBC、RBC、HB等影响情况.结果500 mg/kg体重剂量组除产生局部刺激外,无其他明显毒性反应;1000 mg/kg体重剂量组出现中毒表现,其中毒损伤的器官主要是肝脏和肾脏.结论应用磺胺间甲氧嘧啶不超过500mg/kg体重剂量时,临床用药安全.

Objective: To evaluate the safety of Sulfamonomethoxine Suspensions Injection used on the target animal.Methods: 16 Landrace Rongchang crossbred pigs are divided into 3 groups at random.There are 6 pigs in the dosage of 500 mg/kg group and 6 pigs in the dosage of 1000 mg/kg group,and the rest in non-drugs group.Giving drugs to the pigs one time at several deep sites and observe the influence situation of body temperature,WBC,RBC,HB and so on constantly.Results: There is not significant damage in the dosage of 500 mg/kg group except partial stimulus.Certain damage is in the dosage of 1000 mg/kg group and the organs of toxic mainly are livers and kidneys.Conclusion: It is safe to use Sulfamonomethoxine Suspensions Injection under the dosage of 500 mg/kg.
