沉默行为是日常会话中一种常见的现象,在跨文化交际中常阻碍正常交流,造成跨文化语用失误。从跨文化语用学的角度,以文化预设来分析沉默这种非言语行为的内涵、功能及跨文化差异和产生的原因,同时指出对沉默进行跨文化研究的重要性。

Silence is a common phenomenon in daily conversation, however, it is always a block in cross - cultural communication. This paper uses pragmatic presupposition in culture to analyze the connotation , function of silence, the difference between cultures, the cause it becomes existente, and the meaning I do the research on this from the perspective of pragmatics across culture.
