语法教学在英语教学中一直占有重要的位置。现实的情况是语法教学没有引起我们的重视,在“交际”和“应用”的口号下,语法教学被忽视的现象具有相当的普遍性。然而,目前许多关于第二语言习得方面的研究证明,语法在外语习得中起着重要作用,语法教学是帮助学习者达到较高外语水平的重要途径。因此,我们有必要对语法在外语教学中的重要性进行重新认识,并从新的角度看待语法、教授语法。

Grammar teaching has always been playing an important role in English language teach- ing.But the present situation is that grammar is not given its due attention.Under the influence of“Communication”and“Application”,it is common to see grammar is ignored.However,many researches into second language acquisition indicate that grammar is essential in foreign language ac- quisition,and grammar teaching is an important means which helps learners achieve higher profi- ciency.Therefore,it is necessary for teachers to reconsider its' importance,look at grammar and teach grammar from a new perspective.
