太平洋莱恩海山富钴结壳剖面的锶同位素地球化学

摘要 对中太平洋莱恩海山富钴结壳MP5D17的各壳层样品进行了系统的锶同位素组成测定.结果表明,结壳具有很低的Rb/Sr值,结壳中87Sr/86Sr值变化较大,范围在0.7084~0.7092.从底部到顶部,结壳不同壳层的锶同位素组成在剖面上具有明显的变化规律,并与其结构构造的变化相对应,但其演化曲线与海水的锶同位素演化曲线变化趋势差异较大,以斑杂状构造为主的疏松层的87Sr/86Sr值明显偏高.由于铁锰结壳中元素锶的扩散速率较高,以斑杂状构造为主的高孔隙率的疏松层难以保存其生长时海水的锶同位素组成,因此锶同位素地层学不适合作为结壳的定年工具.
