摘要
以语料库为基础对advance搭配行为所作的对比分析结果表明,对该词项的使用呈现显著差异:较之本族语者,中国学习者把advance作为名词使用的频率过低,过多地把其当作形容词使用;advance在ADJ+N、N+PREP+(N)类联接、习惯性搭配中及作动词时,中国学习者存在误用、滥用和少用现象。
Adopting the two corpus-based approaches,this study analyzes the collocational behavior of the frequently used word advance in its two colligations.A comparison is drawn between its use in Chinese Learner English Corpus and that in native English speakers' corpus.The statistics on the data reveal significant discrepancies in the use of advance by Chinese learners and native speakers: Chinese learners do not use advance as a noun frequently and overuse advance as an adjective;There are misuse,underuse of advance in the colligations of ADJ+N and N+PREP+N,and in the case it is used as a verb.The corpus approach has a great significance to the research of Second Language Acquisition.
