摘要
符号象似性原则运用于诗歌翻译过程中,译者必须把握原文篇章象似性表达特点,使之再现于翻译文本之中.以杜甫五言诗《梦李白》之英译为例,具体操作中可从顺序象似、对称象似以及隐喻象似三个视角入手,以保持原文显性与隐性特征,在实现“形式创作”之同时,再现原诗的风格与神韵.
In the application of the principle of iconicity to the translation of poetry,it is advisable to grasp the expressive features of iconic discourse in the source version and properly present them in the target version.Through the example of three English versions of the two five-character ancient poems,'Dreaming of Li Bai' by Tu Fu,this article offers a probe of the translating process to keep the apparent and hidden characteristics of the original poem in the perspectives of sequencing,symmetrical and metaphorical iconicity so as to realize the re-creation in the form as well as in the spirit.
