Analysis on Settlement Character of Red Sandstone High Embankments in Changzhang Expressway

以湖南省境内的常张高速公路沉降观测资料为依据,分析探讨了红砂岩高路堤沉降变形特性及其随填方高度的变化规律,表明在正确的施工工艺下,红砂岩是可以作为高路堤填料的。

Taking the monitoring data of settlement in Changzhang expressway within the boundaries of Hunan province,the characteristics of settlement deformation for the red sandstone high embankment and its changing law with the height of embankments are analyzed and discussed,which indicates that the red sandstone can serve as filling material of high embankments under right construction technology.
