“和谐社会”指的是社会系统各组成部分、各要素处于井然有序、相互协调的状态,具体体现在人与人的和谐、人与自然的和谐。从劳伦斯的晚期作品《查特莱夫人的情人》小说文本中,我们不难发现这种“不和谐”状态在当时英国的存在;但从更深层次来看,劳伦斯对“不和谐”状态的揭露和描绘恰恰流露出他对“和谐社会”的深切渴望。

A 'harmonious society' is one in which the various components and elements of the social system are in a harmonious order.Such a society is exemplified in the harmony between man and man,man and nature,man and resources.Three 'disharmonious' state can be found in U.K.then in the late works of D.H.Lawrence,Lady Chatterley's Lover;however,in depth,the disclosure and depiction of the 'disharmonious' state by D.H.Lawrence is just the illustration of his desire for a 'harmonious society'.
