摘要
提出了一种新的车牌字符分割算法,先对车牌区域进行Roberts算子边缘检测,再进行Hough变换,将车牌区域角度校正完毕后,根据划分的字符区域宽度的不同,将字符区域归为不同类型,再分别进行处理,提高了字符分割的精度。
A new method for segmentation of plate characters was proposed. Roberts operator template was used to accomplish the accurate edge image of license plate and Hough transformation is to overcome the license plate tilt correction. A segmentation algorithm of the characters was proposed that classified the character block according to the width and process separately. As a result, its recognition rate is higher.
