摘要
资源预留是实现网格作业服务质量保证的重要方法。对网格资源管理机制和调度算法的研究主要是通过仿真进行的。给出了一个离散事件驱动的仿真平台,实现了对本地调度器、全局调度器、资源监测器、资源代理、网格用户、本地用户等主要网格实体的仿真,实现了主要的调度算法,提供了网格提前预留、网格协同预留、本地提前预留和底层处理单元的预留功能,可用于资源预留相关的并行计算和网格计算环境中的资源管理和调度算法的仿真。
Reservations are essential to guarantee the Quality of Services of Grid jobs. Researches on resource management and scheduling algorithms are usually carried out with simulations. A discrete-event driven simulator to support studies of reservation-related resource management and scheduling algorithms in Grid-like environments was presented. This tool modeled the main Grid components and their functions, including local schedulers, metaschedulers, monitors, resource brokers, Grid users and local users, with a particular focus on investigations of their abilities and interactions to support advance reservation, co-reservation of Grid jobs and to support advance reservations in local resources or local processing elements. Meanwhile, most of important algorithms for parallel or Grid scheduling were implemented.
