惠州市自2002年获评“国家园林城市”以来,市委、市政府认真落实科学发展观,坚持城市环境与经济建设同步发展,以治理环境为主导,坚持“山、水、城、林、园”协调发展,不断整治城市环境,使城市园林向生态园林迈进。同时,坚持依法冶绿,推进管理养护制度化、规范化,使园林景观长盛不衰,城市品位不断提升。

Since Huizhou was voted as 'the national garden city' in 2002, the municipal government has seriously implemented the policy of scientific and sustainable development, promoted urban environmental and economic construction simultaneously, humored the masses' strong desire of creating a harmonious society and a better life, made further progress, took one step at a time to carry out landscaping work. Centered on controlling the environment, the government constantly improves greening、beautifying、cleaning、glistening the urban environment,and coordinates the development of hills、waters、city、garden and park to build an ecotypic garden city. Taking legislation as the yardstick, insisting on legal planting, the government promotes the systemization and standardization of environment management and protection to keep the landscape unfading and upgrade the urban grade as well.
