摘要
基于小波变换的图像编码是一种有效的图像压缩方法,最著名的是Shapiro提出的小波零树编码方法。根据小波零树结构的重新分类和编码流程,对EZW算法进行了改进。仿真结果表明,在压缩比相同的情况下,该方法不仅能够在几乎不降低图像恢复质量的前提下提高了编码速度,压缩整体性能明显要优于EZW算法。
Image coding based on wavelet is effective image compression method.EZW(embedded zero-tree wavelet),which is mentioned by Jerome M.Shapiro is the best famous image coding.This paper adjusts the structure of the zero-tree rationally and changes the original coding flow.Experimental results show that this method is competitive to,and open outperforms the best wavelet coding algorithm(such as EZW).
