在厘清思想库基本内涵的基础上,着重阐明美国外交与安全思想库对美国外交与安全政策制定特别是在对华战略制订方面的影响和作用,并提出我国加强与美国外交与安全思想库交流的若干建议。

This paper illustrates the functions of American foreign and security think-tanks on formulating American foreign affairs and security policies,studies their effects and roles that they virtually impact US strategy toward China,and points out the ways that China should strengthen communication with American foreign and security think-tanks.
