明清时期流民与粤东北山区开发

Immigrants and Mountain Exploitation in Northeast of Guangdong Province in the Ming and Qing Dynasties

流民进入粤东北山区具有地区性的差异。粤北地区开发较早,土著势力强大;粤东山区开发较晚,流民势力远远超过土著,因此流民往往能以家族力量为基础,在一些山区形成稳定的定居点。大量流民进入粤东北山区,虽然造成了当地秩序的一度失衡,但也促进了粤东北山区的开发。同时,由于流民对于山区的过度开发,导致了粤东北山区生态的恶化和资源的紧缺,从而引发了清中期粤东北大量人口,向赣南、粤中等地区迁移。因此可以认为,明清时期粤东北的流民活动,对粤东北山区社会风貌产生了决定性的影响。
