On the Existence of Alphabetic Words in Chinese

当前字母词大量存在于汉语中,并进入社会生活的各个领域,给中国的社会用语带来了一定的影响。本文探讨了字母词存在的根据、价值及其带来的问题,并从社会语言学的角度提出了人们对目前汉语中存在的字母词应具有的态度。

There are plenty of alphabetic words in Chinese recently which exist in every field of our social life.This is affecting the social language in China.The present paper discusses the reasons why alphabetic words exist in Chinese and the problems they cause,and it raises the attitude towards the alphabetic words in Chinese from the viewpoints of sociolinguistics.
