A Probe into the Reasons that America Strengthened Its Human-Right Diplomacy with China after the Cold War

冷战期间,美国人权外交的主要对象是苏联而非中国。冷战后,中国成了美国人权外交的主要对象。冷战后,美国强化对华人权外交的根本原因是美国依然坚持冷战思维,不能正确认识和对待冷战后中国在国际舞台上的地位和作用。

During the Cold War period,America's human-right-diplomacy was chiefly conducted for the former Soviet Union rather than China.After the Cold War,however,China became the chief target of America's human-right-diplomacy.The reason that America strengthened its human-right-diplomacy with China lies in the fact that America still holds the thinking mode of the Cold War and thus fails to realize correctly and deal with China's position and role in international community.
