On the Responsibility of Scientific and Technological Experts in Modern Society

依据逻辑和历史相统一的原则,对在科技进步历程中科技专家所肩负的责任进行哲学维度的反思,并以案例分析的方法,指出'科学技术价值中立'说的有害性,认为在大科学时代,科技专家应当承担学术层面和社会层面的双重责任.

In modern time, we are forced to reflect because we are puzzled what the scientific and technological progress makes. According to the principle of unification of logics and history, it discusses the responsibility which the scientists and technological experts should shoulder during the course of scientific and technological progress; employing the case analysis method, it is argued that the view of science and technology is value-free is harmful. Thus, in the biosciences era, scientific and technological experts should bear the double responsibilities of academics and society.
