我国政府历来十分重视语言文字工作,新中国成立以来,颁布了不少语言文字工作的政策法令,大力促进了语言文字的规范化、标准化,使语言文字在社会主义现代化建设中更好地发挥出作用。在改革开放的新时期,我们更要坚持语言文字使用的规范化、标准化。

Our government has always attached great importance to the standardization of language. Since the foundation of the PRC, a lot of policies and decrees have been promulgated concerning the use of language. As a result, the Chinese language has become more standardized and has played a better role in the construction of socialist modernizations. In the new era of Reform and Opening to Outside World, it is all the more important to use the standardized language.
