Depending on its own advantages,steel structures is being used more and more widely in civil engineering.But little emphasis is put on its fire protection.The cause of steel structures′ rapid development is expounded briefly;then the author explains the importance of steel structures’ fire protection from several different points as characters,recent circumstances of steel structures and its fire traits;at last,several concrete measures are taken to protect steel structures from fire damages.
