摘要
提出了一种应用激光器附加外部谐振腔测量空气中细微颗粒的新方法,当颗粒通过激光器的附加外部谐振腔时,颗粒和光场相互作用的自混合效应引起激光器输出光能的变化。实验显示该测量方法可以进行颗粒计数和粒径大小的测量。
A new method for the detection of micro-particle by external cavity is presented. The method is based on the interaction of the moving particle with the field in the external cavity of the laser. The self-mixing causes the change of the laser's output luminous energy. The experiments verify that this method is capable of detecting micrometer-size particle.
