It presents the procedure of developing the device driver for CMOS sensor,using Motorola's DragonBall,based on embedded Linux and achieving the embedded video-capturing function.It takes advantage of the embedded system's character to improve the capability of system.Developing device drivers on embedded Linux can help using the new devices,improving the efficiency of access to the new devices and the performance capability.As drivers can be changed easily,so the system is very convenient and flexible.
