《格林童话》中有大量故事讲述年轻姑娘受家族里的女性压迫,最后由白马王子救走的故事;中国古典文学《红楼梦》中,三小姐探春有类似于灰姑娘的经历。传统的社会分工是导致她们共同命运的原因,姑娘们在闺阁中有诸多无奈,她们只能憧憬着婚姻来解救自己。

Gimm’s Fairy Tales tell us a lot about females tortured by other females in the same family,and the poor girls get rescued by their princes.
