This paper focuses on the painting of the great historical characters in Lingyan Pavilion so as to redisplay the magnificent portrait painting history of Lingyan Pavilion in Chinese History by collecting the bits and pieces of historical data about the great character portraits in Lingyan Pavilion in classic historical records.
