近人研究《史记》三家注,往往关注其在文字、训诂、音韵、版本及注解上的贡献,但忽略了其在保存文献及收集史料方面的贡献。文章以《说文解字》和《括地志》为例,论述了三家注在保存文献方面的贡献;又从校补史实作用和纪年价值论述了三家注在收集史料方面的贡献。

We study Three Scholar s Annotation to Historical Records only see the words,textual research,rhyme and rhythm,edition and translation,but neglect the contribution of its in conserving bibliography and collecting historical data.This article through the Shuowen JieZi and Kuodizhi to discuss its contribution in conserving bibliography,and through proofread,supplement history,number the year to discuss its contribution in collecting historical data.
