在生物医学领域,用小动物建立有关人类免疫系统的病毒感染模型是一个重要的目标,尤其是HIV-1感染的研究。这是因为HIV-1的易感性局限于人类。C.B-17-scid/scid基因缺陷性的重新整合导致缺乏成熟的T、B淋巴细胞。现已在scid小鼠身上建立了两种人淋巴细胞chimera。
Development of a viral infection model of the human immune system using small animals is an important goal in biomedical research , especially in studiesof HIV-1 infection. This is particularly important since susceptibility to HIV-1 is limited to humans. The C. B-17-scid/scid-mouse lacks mature T and B cells due to a defective rearrangement of the T cell receptor and immunoglobulin genes. Two types of human lymphoid chimeras have been establi shed in scid-mice.
