Listening comprehension is one of the important parts both in English teaching and in English learning. It becomes more and more important in the future study and test. But it is hard for most of the learners to not only listen clearly but understand well. In this essay, the author analyses the major obstacles affecting listening comprehension—language obstacle and non—language obstacle, and also puts forward the corresponding counterplan on how to improve listening comprehension ability.
