近些年来,我国GIS教学受到人们广泛的关注,发展极为迅速,形势喜人,但也面临着极大的机遇和挑战。该文在充分分析GIS学科特点及国内外高等院校GIS教学现状的基础上,进一步对林业院校GIS教学的重要性,国外林业及其相关院校GIS教学的现状,国内林业院校GIS教学现状进行了分析,并对我国林业院校GIS学科建设,GIS专业设置及GIS教学中的问题进行了探讨。
