摘要
针对光纤通信和光传感中常用的集成光学光调制嚣,运用有限差分方法分析了脊型结构光调制器的微波传播特性,建立了相应的数值仿真模型.数值计算表明,脊型结构光调制器比普通结构的调制器有更大的调制带宽和较小的半波电压.在电板宽度为8μm、高度为29 μm,电极间距为25μm,脊高为3.6μm时,调制带宽为100 GHz,半波电压为7.95 V,测试结果与文献[5]符合的较好.
For optical fiber communication and optical sensing, the integrated traveling-wave optical modulators with the ridge structure are numerically modeled with the finite difference method. In addition, the microwave propagation characteristics are analyzed. The results showed that the ridge structure has more advantages comparing with the conventional structure in increasing bandwidth and reducing Vπ.
