呼唤新的音乐评论——2004年6月7日在星海音乐学院的演讲

A Call for New Music Criticism——Lecture at Xinghai Conservatory of Music June 7,2004

鉴于当前音乐生活的多元发展势态,我们的音乐评论急需获得迅速的发展,急需改变原有的模样,以适应日新月异的音乐生活的需要。我所呼唤的音乐评论主要有:新的音乐评论观念,即人本主义的乐评观念;新的乐评方法,应该突破单纯政治功利的方法,提倡文化学、历史学和美学的方法,重视多种方法的互动结合、自然交融;音乐评论家应该追求独特,即追求独立思考的音乐评论,探索充分展现自我的音乐评论;音乐评论的新文风,应该是丰富多彩、个性彰显的文风;新的乐评人才。我们的目标是要建立音乐评论的系统学科,构建起学科的整体框架,让音乐评论这一学科逐渐成熟、完善起来。

According to the multi- development situation of present musical life, it is of urgent need for our music criticism to change the o-riginal patterns and suit the rapid change. Aspects of what I am calling for in the field of music criticism are mainly as follows: new conceptof music criticism--humanist concept in music criticism; new methods of music criticism that should break through the merely political utilitarianism and advocate the sciences of culture, historiography and aesthetic methods, and to emphasize inter-dynamic combination and natural mingle between various methods; music critics should search for uniqueness and music criticism of independent thoughts, they should seek for a music criticism that could fully show themselves; a new style of writing that should be varied and colorful and full of individuality; and finally call for new music critics. Our aim is to establish a systematic discipline of music criticism and build an overall frame for this discipline in order to promote music criticism discipline to be more mature and perfect.
