It has long been said that musical anthropology only concerns the dimension of cultural studies, not the musical forms. Actually it is a misunderstanding. This paper discusses the methods of \'transcription and analysis', aiming to clarify the theoretical fact that both cultural and form studies are equally emphasized in the field. The theoretical exploration into the transcription analysis of folk music has been an important research area since the 20th Century, which focuses on an approach of multi-explanations for the multi-musical world.
