It is an important issue to set up social security net for migrant workers in China. Based on the characteristic of the migrant workers and the status of social security for migrant workers, this thesis analyzes the importance and barriers to set up social security net for migrant workers in China. Finally, this thesis points out the key approaches and measures should be taken to set up social security net for migrant workers.
