NATs traversal is an issue we got to face during the development of Voip communication. The causes of the issue are discussed, and a resolution based on SIP protocol is proposed. This solution implements NATs traversal by modifying the SIP messages the proxy relays and redirecting the media flow of the terminals to the proxy. It's a simple, efficient solution that complies with SIP protocol.
