精细空间可伸缩视频编码方案实现

摘要 提出了一种新颖的空间可伸缩视频编码方案-精细粒度空间可伸缩编码。这种编码方案为空间可伸缩提供了精细粒度特性。方案使用比特平面技术,可以获得图像质量从低分辨率到高分辨率的转换,从而得到粒度的增加。另外,所提方案提供了一种灵活的嵌入式比特流,这样视频流可以被解码成从低分辨率到高分辨率的任何速率点。这种特性提高了互联网上视频流的编码效率,适应了有较大带宽波动的互联网。 In this paper,we present a novel structure for spatially scalable video coding,that is,fine-granularity spatially scalable coding.This scheme provides fine-granularity property to the spatial scalability.Bit plane technique is combined with spatial scalability,thus a fine granularity increase in the image quality from low-resolution to high-resolution can be obtained.In addition,this scheme provides a flexible embedded bitstream that can be decoded up to any point from low-resolution to high-resolution.This characteristic improves efficiency of video bitstream,and adapt to the widely fluctuated bandwidth over the Internet.
