In order to resist autocratic culture, people in Jingchu selected Qu Yuan as their spokesman of their main thought and used various ways to create and inherit colorful Jingchu folk culture. First, they made use of Qu Yuan's merits and spirits to create and spread many lively legends about Qu Yuan, which incarnated Qu Yuan as a persistent fighter, a beloved patriot and a respected protector. Then lots of sacrifice activities are created and spread to make Qu Yuan popular and form Jingehu folk culture related to Qu Yuan.
