电压源变换器中抗炸裂保护用的IGBT熔断器

摘要 电气失效的后果可能是很严峻的:不仅涉及设备,而且在最坏的情况下还直接涉及到人,特别是如果安全原则没有被遵守的话。每年基于直流环节电压源变换器的新应用都在增加,有关大功率IGBT模块采用电力电子技术来保护的需求亦与日俱增。鉴于功率水平日益增大的事实,更多的能量被储存在直流环节中,即使采用了有源保护,一旦电路失效条件发生之时,大功率的IGBT还是存在着被损坏(炸裂)的风险。一种可能的解决方案就是采用标准的快速熔断器或快速IGBT熔断器来对变换器实行保护。讨论了采取在直流环节放置IGBT熔断器来实施这种保护的方法。实验表明,采用特殊的快速熔断器保护,这样的炸裂是能够避免的。这里研究了在直流环节中标准的快速熔断器和IGBT熔断器的附加电感。还讨论了在负载电流中引入高频分量时熔断器中的电流分布问题。进一步又讨论了IGBT熔断器的超额成本是如何可能通过易于维修和减少生产设备的停机时间而获得平衡的。 The consequences of electrical faults can be severe, not only to the equipment, but also in the worse case, to people if safety principles are not observed.
