The Indian-British writer V.S.Naipaul has always been considered a 'rootless literal traveler.' His 'India trilogy' has become evidence of his separation from Indian culture. In fact, Naipaul's feelings towards his mother country rather complicated and delicate. His frequent ' tour to India' indicates that: his subversion of Indian civilizations is totally out of his expectation of its improvement.
