Cross-civilization Study: Theory and Practice of Comparative Literature in the 21st Century China

在全球化文明冲突时代 ,比较文学学科理论面临着重大的调整与转折。本文从“‘文明的冲突’与跨文明对话”、“搭建平等对话的平台”以及“‘汉语性’研究与异质文化探源”等三个角度 ,论述了跨文明研究作为 2 1世纪中国比较文学研究的基本理论特征和实践指南的必要性与重要性。

In the time of global conflict of civilization, the theory of comparative literature has to make readjustment and change. The essay will expound the necessity and importance of cross-civilization study as the basic theoretical basis of and practical guide to comparative literatury study in the 21st century. The essay will proceed from four perspectives, namely, 'civilization conflict and cross-civilization dialogue,' 'construction of a platform for dialogue,' 'study of distinctiveness of Chinese language' and 'origin-tracing of exotic culture.
